ChigirajinsenteiThis traditional inn in Ikaho Onsen was founded in 1502. It is a long-established inn beloved by the Meiji era literary figure Tokutomi Roka. Chiaki Jinsentei is the opening story of the tragic novel "Hototogisu."
The specialty of this inn is the large public bath. This bath is filled with luxurious "Golden Water" and although it looks like an ordinary bath at first glance, it is actually 1 meter deep.
Maybe it's also known as a "hot spring pool"?
If you are entering for the first time, please be careful of its depth.
The size is 5m x 3m.
