This is the Sky Tree seen from Asakusa Azumabashi Bridge on April 2nd last year. The first observation deck had not yet been completed. The sightseeing boat dock in front was under construction.

This is a photo of the construction site. There are no buildings around yet. There were hardly any spectators in front of the fence. It was very lonely.

This photo was taken from the bank of the river that flows right next to it. You can clearly see the inner core structure.

Last year on April 2nd. When the sky started to get cloudy while I was taking photos, the top of the tower went into the clouds. I really got a sense of how high it was. Next to it, a crane with a gyro was lifting up the parts.
Normally, the wires of cranes hang down long and are dangerous because they sway and twist in the wind, but this new gyro crane does not sway or twist much due to the gyro effect. Here too, the wire hangs down for over 300m, and it goes up straight at a fairly fast speed without any shaking or rotation. This is a newly developed technology.
