Today was a clear, sunny day with good visibility, so I went to work early to take photos of the sky trees on my way to work.

This is a sky tree taken from the Sumida River between Asakusabashi Station and Ryogoku Station. The boat was captured at just the right time.

This is a sky tree seen over the roof of the Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Hall. The large climbing cranes at the top can be seen symmetrically on both sides. The photo below from our company shows the cranes from the back. From the next station, Kinshicho, the cranes change position to be seen from the side.

Just before Kinshicho Station. The two large cranes look like they're going to overlap.

I arrived at Kinshicho Station. I moved from platform 2 on the down line to platform 4 on the up line and took this photo over the plaza in front of the north exit of Kinshicho Station. This is a collaboration between the sky tree and the golden ring-shaped monument "Echo," a work by American sculptor Loren Addson, which has a musical clef motif.

Here's a close-up from the same position. The two large cranes are overlapping. They are about 90 degrees around from the previous Ryogoku direction. Instead, the smaller cranes can be seen lined up on the left and right.
