Good morning. I'm sorry I haven't been able to upload photos for a while. My house is far away, so the trains didn't run until around the 16th. They started running a little after that, so I went to work today. I saw the tree for the first time in a while and it was taller than I expected. The official height was 625m on March 14th. It's currently 625m tall. The intersection in front of our company is normal.

A net has been stretched over the protruding base of the gain tower. Based on past examples, this seems to be the end of the work on this part. There are rumors that it may be raised by 9m to 634m today. I'll keep an eye on it.

A protective net has already been installed at the base of the Gain Tower, which means work on this part is almost complete.

Urgent report. I looked at the tree during my lunch break earlier and it looked like it had grown a lot, so I looked at it with binoculars and it certainly had grown. I am posting the photos I took as soon as possible. In this morning's photo, four horizontal steel beams of the Gain Tower were visible from the scaffolding near the end of the climbing lane at the base of the Gain Tower, but now there are six.
This means that the interval between the horizontal beams is about 5m, so it has been lifted up by about 10m. The height this morning was 625m + 10m = 635m, so it seems to have reached the initial target of 634m.

The Tokyo Sky Tree is thought to have reached 634 meters. It seems to have been a little earlier than expected. Even though there was a big earthquake last week, I'm surprised they were able to reach this height without any delays in the construction schedule. I can't help but pray that this will bring hope to the people in the areas affected by the earthquake and to the bright future of Japan.

This is a 600mm telephoto photo. At the base of the vertical pipe of the fully raised gain tower, there is some kind of reinforcement? A blackish object that looks like a fixed structure is attached.
