This photo was taken in August last year to investigate the "Mukuri" curve near the ground. I took a photo of the bulge on the outer shape of the left side of the tower and measured the image. To do this, I looked for a place where I could see as far east as possible from near the ground to the top. The tower is triangular, so there are only three chances to see it from. I think this is the best position nearby for the "Mukuri" curve.
That red-brown building is a bit of a nuisance, though.

This is the same direction as the previous photo, but we are further away, crossing Expressway No. 6 and the Sumida River.
You can only see the top from about 50m above the ground.
Because it is far away, you can see the natural curve of the rock rather than looking up at it.
At the same time, the opposite curve, the "warping" curve, is also visible. These two curves were measured.

This was taken from the center of the base triangle. One of the three faces is visible in the foreground.
The left and right ridges are symmetrical.

This photo was taken downstream of the Sumida River, near Azumabashi Bridge. The "mukuri" and "sori" look reversed.
