The lifting started just before noon and is now complete. It took about three hours to raise the tower by about 10 meters. The estimated height is now about 601 meters. At this point, it has surpassed the Guangzhou Tower in China (600 meters) to become the tallest free-standing radio tower in the world.

It's getting quite dark. It looks like it's going to rain.

The lift hasn't been lifted yet. It was scheduled for yesterday, but was postponed. The rain has stopped this morning, but the area around Gain Tower is still occasionally covered by rain clouds.

Clouds are gathering around the 2nd Observatory. The 7th digital antenna is neatly covered with a protective net. I hope the lift-up will start in the afternoon. I'll take some photos if there's any change as we pass the 600m mark.
