Today's view is of the Sky Tree from the roof of our company. There is a building hiding the base of the tree, so you can only see the top half. The tree is 2km away.

The scaffolding for the 7th digital antenna was completed yesterday evening. We are providing photos and explanations of the construction status, focusing on the gain tower construction. The remaining height is 40m. It has been announced that the height will be reached (634m) at the end of March.

This is the top of the Gain Tower. The thick part at the tip is a vibration control device. Below that are antennas for digital TV broadcasting for NHK and other commercial broadcasters. For some reason, nothing is installed at the fifth antenna.

This morning, six or seven workers are still on the scaffolding. They are putting up protective netting around the antenna that has already been installed. Once that is done, it will be lifted up. Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow are holidays, so by Monday it will exceed 600m and will have overtaken the Guangzhou Tower in China to become the tallest free-standing radio tower in the world.

There doesn't appear to be any particular changes to the exterior of the second observation deck. Three people can be seen on the right side of the roof of the observation deck. Two workers can be seen on the inside of the front wall above the roof.
