Tokyo Skytree Observation Diary 2011.01.24

It's cloudy today. It rained in Tokyo last night for the first time in a while. In the morning, the Skytree was covered in clouds and I couldn't even see the first observation deck. The clouds have finally cleared up a bit. However, I still can't see the second observation deck. I don't know if it's been lifted up. I'll upload some photos if I can see it in the afternoon.

The clouds are clearing and the sun is starting to shine. We are currently lifting up the fifth digital antenna.

We are currently lifting up the fifth digital antenna. It looks like we will be done with the lifting in about 5m. The fifth antenna gain tower (thin part) will extend to about twice its current size.

It has been lifted up even more compared to 11:45. It looks like it will go up another 2m. Compare it with the photo from 20110119 (9:20). You can see that it will be lifted up a little more.
